We had a similar thing with a gentleman telling everyone he was selling magazines and that his relative lived down the street and knew us. He collected some checks from a few people and then someone called the cops on him and they arrested him for soliciting without a permit. When I was a kid you could trust door to door salesmen but nowadays it seems like it is usually a scam.

i could be especially suspicious. watching a opposite tackle study website (link under), the 102 Ann highway shape seems to have 2 instruments and neither guy or woman has the final call Watt. at the same time as the reliability of the strategies is often in question, my preliminary concept is that that's a rip-off. are you able to take a glance on the customer historical past to establish in the event that they have comments from different sellers? you additionally can verify with PayPal to establish in the event that they have any comments for/against the customer's account.

I would have called 911 for him if his child needed to be transported to the hospital. That call would have been made while he was outside my house. That's as far as I would go being a good Samaritan. If it happened to be legitimate, it would have been the right thing to do. If, like you state, it wasn't, then nothing was lost.

That was awfully kind of you to offer a ride. However, you are very lucky and can't trust too many people nowadays. Thanks for the advice. I will pass it along. Glad you are OK.
