What are some romantic ways to propose to my girlfriend??

I would suggest that you avoid the gimmicks. Don't write "will you marry me?" on a banner and string it on her apartment building. Don't hide the ring inside of a cake for dessert. Don't propose in any way that would put her on the spot in front of lots of people - at a sports game or on TV... that just makes it more pressure on both of you!

Just make it simple. Take her to a beautiful, romantic restaurant and then pour the champagne and ask her! It doesn't have to be some major proclamation of how you'll love her forever and how being with her has given you wings or something like that. It should be simple and straightforward. Honesty is key. Don't go overboard with metaphors and overblown language. Simply tell her how much you love her and how much you want to be with her.

listen you have to think about this one . you may already know what her favorite food is so plan a nice dinner together but you tell her you are doing the cookin . set up the house with candles , flowers , and warm music .{ put on Sade's lovers rock . very sexy .and will create the mood thu out the whole cd } after you have dinner , and some slow dancing . you then wait for a knock on the door . there you will have someone only you know with a package for delivery. in it the ring . tell her to open it . when she opens it you then get on your knee and say those magic words. by the way . spread rose pedals over the bed .then you make love to her with all your soul.

Find someplace that was really special for you two, someplace you went and had a great time. Go there again, but make her wear a blindfold. Tell her to take the blindfold off and follow the trail of red rose petals. I think it would be so sweet if a guy would set up a nighttime picnic at the beach (lake, park, somewhere secluded and natural) and had wine and a big cozy blanket. That's be so romantic! I'd love it!

Hmmmm.....maybe a nice quiet picnic in the park, or beach or something.....just the two of you. You could put the ring in the desert where she would find it instead of swallowing it. Or maybe when you go to hand her the desert you could hand her the ring instead. I think one big no-no would be to do it in front of a lot of people....that would put her on the spot and could embarrass her.

How about buying and wrapping a pillow ( an elegant white one )and presenting her with this token and once she has opened and holding it take it from her hands through it on the ground and kneel.... that's how I was caught. I really liked it.
