I have a 6 month old and people are in love with him. He's my first baby. I was wondering at what age did people stop asking you about your child. For example, whenever I am around family, friends, or in the grocery store for that matter, people are asking me how old he is and what he's eating, etc. I love the attention he gets, but I'm curious to know at what age that kind of conversation usually stops.

Hello newmom, It is a blessing to have a baby and greater one to have people around you who care about the baby. The real reason why people are interested in your baby is to show you how much they care and how much they are willing to do what it takes to see your baby grow. This takes as long as the baby lives especially if you are kind and compassionate to the problems of others around you,it's like they want to give something in return for your goodness. So you just have to get use to the attention, for they say "a child is Gold to the mother but diamond to the society."

I think people never really stop getting excited over kids. I have 5yo m and 3yo m and still the older people in the shops stop to chat with them (not me) while I am trying to grocery shopping. I think it is part of being a parent and I don't see anything wrong with it. Maybe they are lonely because all of there children and grandchildren live a long way away. If I can help them through their day just by letting them have a little chat with my kids then that is what I will do.

he will calm over the years with adulthood yet i can comprehend the way that would not help you at present. My canine does the same element as we've 3 teenagers yet she is a 20 lb canine. i'm no longer able to think of how complicated it is going to be for you with a enormous breed. Is there specific situations the place he gets excited? i comprehend for my canine it somewhat is whilst the youngsters start up a pastime of chase in the process the abode. I even have stumbled on that giving her a toy to hold she is far less in all probability to bounce up for some reason. the different element you're able to do is prepare it with him. Have the youngsters do their newborn element, yelling or leaping around on the same time as you have him on lead. What i exploit is the 'bypass away it' command and that i run her with the aid of her instructions that she knows and save her distracted. It has helped because of the fact now whilst they get excited and start up off working around, she seems to me first and could come over and sit down to get a cope with. It did take countless prepare even though it somewhat is paying off.

Ask far as I know it almost never stops until they're like 5. I have a friend with a 3 year old and people ask her all the time about her. I'd say it'll probably slow down a bit when they hit 1. I know my parents and my husband's parents will never stop being excited! lol

When they stop being so darn cute! :D Around 5-7. :P

That only counts for strangers though...family on the other hand will never stop being excited...well, maybe when they start becoming mouthy teenagers or something the cuteness will wear off, and the family will back off as well. ;)

haha.

Stops when they are toddlers (3-4-y.o.) Then it starts again when they are teens, but the excited people are teens of the opposite sex
