I would tally up what projects I still had left on my plate, and then I'd inform my boss that I was planning on quitting. Then I'd stick around at least long enough to finish the work I'd already been given, and I would probably stay longer to do enough knowledge-transfer that the business wouldn't suffer too much once I was gone. I just don't like the idea of quitting cold and not giving anybody a chance to react or prepare, especially if it's within my power to make the transition less painful.

Heh. I dream about this actually. I would likely take a few days off, buy an Arlen Ness chopper, ride on up to the office parking lot with a stripper on the back seat and walk inside, leaving the girl on the bike. Id take the boss to the window and say, "I know you heard about my winnings, I wanted you to look outside and take a look at my 5 year plan"
Then Id give everyone in the office a cuban cigar and ride on off to the sunset...with the stripper...whose name...will be Bubbles.

I would go ahead & give a 2 week notice, The people in my office helped in this job when I had trouble learning the job. If I did not like my job I probably would tell them to bit me.

At my last job I hated it SO bad, if I would have won the lottery, I'd have bought the office and then fired every single one of their @sses.....actually, I'd just flipped them all the bird and walked out the door....which is pretty close to how I left anyway....of course I didn't have an lottery money waiting on me. Now I'm poor. :)

I would walk in and tell all of my employees to "Bow down Bitches, I'm Rich, your not. HA" Actually I really wouldn't do that, I would put in my two weeks notice and get hell out of town, because when you have money and it gets out, people that you didn't even know existed start coming out of the wood work.

You can take this job and shove it up your mile wide a*se!!!
(I hate my boss in case you'd missed that!)
Then I'd run out of the building into a waiting limo, never to be seen again.

i would call up the owners of the company i work for, and tell them that i needed to talk to them in person, set up said meeting, and give them my two weeks notice; to do any less would be disrespectful....i may not LOVE my job, but that doesn't mean i should be disrespectful of my employers or my coworkers.

I wouldn't quit my job, it's what makes my life fulfilling, it's what gives me my purpose. But I would cut back on the hours.
