the movie confused me because the two leaders were elimated. Professor Charles Xavier died and Magneto was given the cure removing his powers. i heard someone say there might be a sequal but i dont see how without the two leaders.

Didn't you watch the surprise ending after the credits. Xavier is alive. He transferred himself to the guy who was in a coma in Dr. Moira McTaggart's clinic.
There would definitely be a sequel to that movie but will be very different from the comic books. I believe Magneto will regain his powers and since Xavier is still alive. The war between mutants and men aren't over yet. I hope they bring Gambit on the next one though.

At the very end of the movie, it hints that Magneto was slowly regaining his powers.
After the credits, it showed Professor X in a hospital bed speaking to the doctor.
They can't just leave it open like that... It'd be rude. lol

Charles did die and Magneto moved a magnetic chess piece with his mind at the end of the movie which indicates that it is wearing off. Don't forget that Cyclops and Jean died also.

he did die, but if you watch the scene after the credit it shows that he transfered himself to the person in a coma shown earlier in the movie.
