You are there for hours! Does anyone know why? What are your thoughts about it?

Read Article 145,subsection 3,ammendent 14 of the DMV code of conduct.It reads as follows......
...at no time shall any employee of the Division of Motor Vehicles labor efficiently,or in a workman like manner:furthermore,said employee will,to the best of his or her ability,make sure that the more urgent a "clients" need be,the more time they shall invest shuffling and stamping papers in the execution of same procedure.
In addition,it is hereby decreed that,at the end of the shift,the DMV employee who has the longest line at his or her station,(and has to turn away the most liscensees at closing time) shall be awarded a bonus equivalent to one half of his (or her) pay for that day.

Because they know that you obviously have to be there for a reason, or you wouldn't be. So they can be as rude, slow, and stupid as they want to be. They don't care.

make an appt & its much quicker . . . otherwise I would rather die & go to hell then go to the dmv.
