Ok so here is my situation. I gave my friend 200 bucks as a 50% deposit to make listing signs for a client of mine. He took a week to too long and i had to tell the client to go else where, meantime I kept calling my friend for the signs or the money. he has yet to return my call.

Now all I have of his is his ## number a email address and n full name.

How do I go about getting his mailing address to send him the llegal papers for the lawsuit.?

Forget the lawsuit. It will cost you 100 times more than your $200, and even going to small claims court will take time and money that you must spend in order to get a judgement -- which is not payment.

Forget your friend. He obviously choked under the pressure of what you asked him to do, not that it was necessarily hard, but he didn't have it done in time, was afraid to call you to tell you he couldn't do it, and you'll probably never hear from him again.

Forget sueing over that amount, it'll cost way more to sue than to write off the 200.

There is a saying that if you lend someone money and you never see them again, you're probably better off.
