The estimates given are way, way off for the price of a well done full sleeve. You can spend $1000 on a single tattoo.. If you are able to get a full sleeve for $1000 it isn't likely to be very nice. I would think a better estimate would be anywhere from $5000+ for a well done sleeve. If you are going to well known artists you could spend even more easily. A very rough price guide for good tattoo work would be about $150 an hour. A single large tattoo could take 5 to 10 hours and you would need several to create a full sleeve and always remember to tip well.

A fair amount. Count on about $1000, but the more you spend on it (the better the artist is) the better it will turn out but also the more it will cost. You want at least 10 hours of tattooing for about $100 an hour, but you have it for life... invest a lot of money--you won't regret it.

it depends on how much detail goes into the tat...if you were to get a full sleeve though I would guess around 1000-1500 bucks

Don't Do It!!!!! Its not worth it! Marking your body is frowned upon in the corporate world. At some point in the future you will regret it.
