Can I save it my computer ? Does that mean I made a "copy" of it illegaly i.e. copyright infringement?

Posting on a public website carries the implicit license to view it in the normal course of browsing.

Which includes, by definition of the technology involved, the right to copy it onto your computer for your viewing. Once on your computer, you can continue to view the image.

Now, some websites might override the default implied license with a specific explicit (written) license which changes your rights. So, pay attention to what you click.

if you use it on something other than your computer then you are breaking the copyright law
