Not just the ones currently in the news, but all terror suspects, who are more than willing to die for their cause, IF convicted & proven guilty should the government not dissapoint them by imprisoning them but actually do something more positive and grant them their wish to die or would that be seen as playing into their hands?

Give the people what they want!

It would make them martyrs. It should be remembered that most detained in the UK recently are British but have ethnic or cultural roots elsewhere. Their families have settled in this country (some for many years) and I doubt whether the terrorists themselves would want to return to the country of their roots. I would bring in new legislation to ensure that where someone was found guilty of conspiring to commit acts of terror that their families, going back three generations are automatically returned to their original country. While this may seem harsh it may prevent the curious going down that road if they realise there will be repercussions for their loved ones. It would also encourage those with suspicions to cooperate with the authorities for the same reasons. We live in a free, democratic, multi-cultural society where all have the right to peace, privacy and security but sometimes there is a price that has to be paid.

yes it would be playing to their hands martyrdom is a powerful concept to the insane stupidity and naivety of the youth in a belief system that says die for the cause and you will go to paradise. they should be made to do community service wiping old folks back sides or make them clean pig pens some thing really humiliating so they must bow their heads in public with shame.
and not proclaim they did the work of Allah who is actually supposed to be against killing and all that.

Bacon sandwiches...pork chops...yummy !! Make the b****s EAT them first, and then do whatever you like with them ! I would feel safer knowing that they can't hurt innocent people anymore !
Enough is enough, I for one am sick of their stupid attitudes ! Islam does not encourage murder , it's their small minded so called religious leaders !
No, letting them die would make them martyr's and we can't allow that, hard labour is what they should get, and their entire families should be sent back to their original county ( not their fault, I know that ..) it's time they realised that their actions hurt their own people too, the very people they're trying to " protect" !! Stupid, just stupid !

We can only hope. That wouldn't be an honourable death, though, you see, as they would have died at the hands of infidels rather than the other way round.

Killing them off would be playing into their hands as they would still be dying for their cause, making them martyrs still

There is no right or wrong answer to this question, as they do not accept that the fault lies within themselves.

You have to stop thinking of what they want. What they want is irreverent.

I say execute them whether they want it or not. After they are dead, I will feel better.
