To quote Boston Red Sox third baseman Mike Lowell, who is married to a Cuban American woman, "I wish he would just die." Can't say it better. The aspirations for freedom for thousands of Cubans go with that wish.

Mine is the same as most of the people in the world, tough and smart old grandfather. He successfully stood up to the Giant neighbor next door and defied the giant at every step of the way. The United States should have joined Castro in throwing out the dictator and helped Castro reform the Government of Cuba along more moderate socialist ideal, good Government support for the people. The last time I thought about it, Universal Health Care including dental care was a basic right of each citizen, period. Castro is right about that. It is not just the rich that deserve health care.
So, Castor is also a strong man, and has imprisoned many innocent people, but it is not like the United States hasn't done the same. Come on man! Admit the truth for once.

Fidel Castro's gotta go. Let Cuba have a democratic government.

Fidel is a dictator, but he is not like Saddam. Fidel should be left alone. He fought to be leader of Cuba because he disagreed with the government in the mid 1950s. Now America disagrees with his government because he is a dictator. There is no democracy there.

The stuborness (and political power) of Cuban Americans in Miami has forced US governments to maintain an embargo on this small island which has only strengthened this able dictator in power. You can bet that once the embargo is lifted, Cubans will be so pleased with American investments in the island, that they themselves will choose a truly democratic government free of those socially inadequate ex-cubans in Florida.

If he was my boss, he might...

1) Say I'm going to get a pay raise.
Then I'll need to return it.

2) Give me free medical.

3) Free bananas everyday.
That's why I have to go to the doctor.
I developed allergy to bananas.

4) Free school.

5) Insist I say positive things every day.

6) Free Fidel Castro pictures in my home.

I can't hate him, but don't want to be around him.

Countryguy

P.S. Castro , please stop voting negative.
Love, your brother Raul.

Fidel Castro is a dictator that has outlasted many U.S. Presidents. He must've done something right to keep him in power all this time.

What's to say? He used the USA to gain power and then turned around and established a dictatorship. He tried to put nukes in Cuba and tried to put a nuke sub base there. If he had softened his approach and tried to deal better with previous administrations, his people would be better off right now. My opinion is that he is a fat commie scum.

He's the president of Cuba; more of a dictator though. He is one of the last head's of state holding on to Communism.
