I will be going to Ireland (i think) in about 6 weeks - with Intel. I wanted to know if anyone out there works for Intel and knows if they put us up in a hotel or apartment or what? thanks

I'd talk to the people in HR. They usually make reservations at long stay hotels. They'll have a contract with a hotel in the area.

Who are you going with that you can't ask the company directly? Are you going with your husband? Have him ask what the arrangements will be when you arrive. They don't just send them to foreign countries with no prior planning. All that stuff is taken care of by the company. Whoever you are going with should know this stuff already (or be given the information shortly).

they're supposed to stay with a man named stan who is missing one arm and has one hand up his butt and will fly into a drunken, whiskey soaked rage at the drop of a hat. it's cheap there though.
