He exposed the big YELLOW streak running up an down his RED back. And, he ran like a coward to a communist country.... what a man. A damn traitorous pig in my opinion, but, if he had served in Vietnam, someone would have had to shoot him.... he would have been found dead with an AK 47 in his hands....

The nomination of billy clinton and the Algore is the reason I quit the Democratic Party. I do not associate with communists.

On August 14, 1964 Bill Clinton registered for draft.
Using student deferment, Senator's influence & his local draft board delaying his applications. He managed to delay thru hook & crook including ignoring 2 draft notices & leaving country for Oxford although register at Arkansas law school.
He finally replied to draft notice on December 3, 1969 one month after learning the president would enact draft for 19 year old only.
He was 23 & safe but ttok time to stop in Norway to protest war & military. Is that specific enough - I could name names.

He got a scholarship to Oxford university in England. He was a Rhodes scholar & was there pretty much for the whole conflict, I believe.

I believe he skinned out to UK to wait out the war under the guise of going to university. He became a Rhodes Scholar and returned to the US after the war was over.

I've heard a couple different stories... He dodged the draft by going to Canada, by attending college somewhere...

I'm not really sure what he did or where he did it. The one thing I'm most sure about is that he didn't serve the US in the miliatry during that time.

I think he had a college deferment. Lots of rich guys did. And like most college students back then, I'm pretty sure he inhaled. A whole lot...

He went overseas and dodged the draft. He did this because he's a rolemodel, this is ironic because he's a DEMOCRAT hero and they always come down on Bush for allegedly dodging. Democrats are a funny thing.

After a student deferment his draft number was #311 which apparently was high enough to keep him out!
