Am I "emo"??

Question

Some people at my school think I am "emo". so am I???? Emo is a type of music though eventhough people use it to steryotype people and stuff.....well anyway the only reasons i could think that people would think I'm "emo" is because I :
>am quiet at school
>have bangs covering one side of my face
>wear converse
>wear lots of black jewlery and metal and stuff
>have glasses
>listen to some emo bands
>cry sometimes but never at school before. well once at daycare but that was like 8 years ago lol or nine years or whatver.
>i dont cut my wrists though
>i wear red eyeshadow sometimes

i dont think of myself as "emo" or anything but what do you think???? im just curious really, and sorry, i didint know what category to put this in lol

Being an emo doesn't mean anything. People stereotype each other just so they can say something about you but if u cut your wrists then u would have Been an emo but u don't so it doesn't make u an emo but it's just cos people in school just want to put people in classes. Ignore them just be yourself!

Just because people label you something that doesn't mean that you are that. Be what you want. If you want to be emo than be it. But I think that if you're asking if you are than you're most likely not. Good luck finding out

well I have friends that dress like u but there are 100% not emo and I think its wrong to judge someone on how they dress or talk because its what u do in life that makes u who u are

i don't think ur emo bc emos r kinda like people who hate there life and hate thems selves and i listen to emo bands too and i'm kinda quiet and i kinda hate myself bc iv'e did things and i regret them,so ur not emo people shouldn't really care if u r or not

i just tell everyone to shut it!

my advise is it just tell everyone that labelling is foolish! and that your just yourself- no-one else!
more ways of saying it- individual, unique, one-of-a-kind.

i say you just let them think what they want, and you can get on with your life.

and i would say, emos and goths and chavs etc...
are just Sheep because they follow eachother [copy each other], and that you follow your own trend!
