r = 1 and you are working with adimensional (normalized) variables.

No, it isn't possible.
One thing to use to check if an equation is correct is the dimensions on both sides of the equation.

The left side has dimension of L (length) and the right side has dimensionless value (Pi is just a number). Which proves that the sides of
(2*Pi*r)/8 = Pi/4
are not equal.

No, it should be Pi(r)/4
