Im tryin to find what is equal to 201 milligrams to hetograms?

All of the prefixes equal powers so the milli (10^-3) to hecto (10^2) conversion is 10^-5 or shift the decimal place 5 to the left.

first you have to know what milli and hecto are...
milli means 1000 mg in 1 gram
hecto means 100 grams in 1 hectogram
now simply go one step at a time...
201 milligrams X(1 gram/1000mg)= 0.201 grams
0.201 grams X (1 hecto gram/100 grams) = 0.00201 grams
this is just like converting 5 feet to inches... if you know there are 12 inches in a foot then
5 ft X (12 inches/1 foot) = 50 inches the feet cancel and you are left with inches.

Milligram to hectogram is the same as dividing by 100,000 or moving the decimal point to the left 5 places.
i.e. 0.00201 hectograms

milli - means multiply by 1/1000
hecto means multiply 100
your answer is .00201
