A husband should treat his wife as he would a good friend that he cares a lot about but at the very least he should respect her feelings as long as she respects his feeling.

Just be nice to each other and when you are not in the mood to be nice then don't be in the same room with each other until you are in a good mood.

AND don't listen to any idiots that attempt to put any religious points to your questions... Religion has been and still is the reason many women are treated poorly by their husbands. Most extremely religious men are very rude to their wives and should not be married.

BUT.. the most important thing is for both the husband and wife to just let things go that happened in the past whether it be a year ago or an hour ago... just live in the moment because life is too short to hold a grudge.

I tell my sweetie everyday how sexy she is and I chase her around the house each day to make her feel wanted.

A husband should love his wife and treat her with respect, just as a wife should treat her husband with the same love and respect..... Marriage is supposed to be about 2 people working together to build a life together, and cherish one another..... Maybe if more people would treat their spouses as their partner instead of a sex object, or a father, or mother figure, or in some cases a maid, or in other cases a punching bag.... maybe the divorce rate wouldnt be so high....
This is just my opinion, and Im sure Im not the only one with this opinion.... If it offends some, then that tells me they need to take a long hard look at their own marriage!!!!

A man should love his wife as Jesus loved the church. He should be willing to give his life for her if need be. I personally love my wife dearly and would would any ill fate that may ever befall her with my own. I never allow her to go to the garbage dumpster or shovel snow or even clean her car off in the winter time. I believe these are all duties of a husband. I think a man should always put his wife on a pedistel. I think a woman should always have a nicer car then her husband. These are just my beliefs.

When a woman feels like an object, she will be less interested in him and may find new pleasures elsewhere or she may turn into a very miserable person and bring everyone down with her.
