Only the power cord is supposed to be plugged into the wall socket. The other is coaxial and screws into the back of the TV like a normal CableTV cable.

One. (unless you include the tv!)
There are a total of only three ports on the N64.
One goes to to the power outlet (that huge transformer- rated as 3.3v. and 12v.) It is labeled as AC POWER IN
Another goes to the tv (labeled as MULTI OUT)
The last slot on the bottom of the unit is a pin-type and is protected by a pop-off cover and is labeled as EXT. You'll probably never need to use it.

Additional:
There are 4 controller slots, power switch, reset button, power indicator and a memory expasion module (only for bames that require it) located on the front of the unit.
Total power consumed is 120v. >(3.3v.+ 12v.) and 19w.
