im trying to figure out what tattoo to get. i want it on the inside of my wrist or arm. i cant seem to think of anything. i have looked at websites and stuff to try and get ideas but i want it to me meaningful to me and original. can you guys give me some ideas or tell me about your tattoos and how you came up with what to get. any advice will help. thank you

A lot of celebrities are getting small, personal tattoos on the inside of their wrists. I don't like tattoos, myself, but if you want one, that would be a rather good spot. I can't tell you what to get if you want something personal. I saw a girl with a star on her wrist the other day, and it didn't look tacky in the least.

Alll of my tattoos have a deep meaning behind em for instance I have my kids names and some others that have a meaning behind em you could always try drawing somethinfg that stands for what you want or if you are not good at drawingyou could tell a tattoo artist to draw up some ideas based on what you tell them you want but just make sure you are sure you want the tattoo before you get it they are very expensive to have removed and sometimes can only be faded And personally I would say never have your significant others name put on your body I did this and ended up having to get a cover up done and when you get a cover up you have to go bigger you can't go smaller. Just make sure you are ready before you get you tat I love mine all 12 of em but there are folks out there that wish they had never goten one.

my fiancee' does tattoos...why don't you try something meaningful to you. Like a symbol(Celtic, tribal clesterial etc.) or Chinese lettering is always cool. something you like. Try going to a local tatto place and look at some of the art they have done. they probally have books you can look at too. you might get some ideas that way too. My self I love Mickey Mouse. hope this helps good luck.

i have 3 very small hearts with my kids initials in each of them,one is pink,one is blue and the other is purple. but i put it on my back shoulder blade, so if i don't wanna show it i don't,,the only time anyone else can see it is if i am wearing a bathing suit, or certain kinds of tank shirts.
But tatoos are forever, so make sure it is what you want. I was 34 when i got mine,not a teenager,old enough to know what i wanted and to understanding it was forever,

Chose only the wise of which will remain with you a lifetime. If in doubt, meditate on the visions you have in your head. Once you have selected an ink, meditate more. Invision that ink upon you. If you have no doubt, then go abouts inking at will. Never hesitate to ask the "great master of inking" what they think about the pricing of inking. For it is then you will know all about your inking that you will live with for life.

I have 6 tattoos and I love them. They are all Kanji (Japanese) and I got my first 2 on my 25th birthday. I got the kanji for 'fire' on my upper left arm (I am a Sagittarius which is a fire sign), and the one for 'tiger' on my right ankle (I'm a tiger in Chinese astrology). From there, I got the one for 'eternity' on my lower back, then the one for 'desire' in my bikini area. Then I got one that means "wolf in the new land", which is the meaning of the name "rodney" - my husband - on my upper right arm. Finally, I got a long kanji that goes from my hairline down my spine to just about my bra strap that means "daughter, grandchild, niece, older sister, mother, friend, wife, woman". Then with the one for 'eternity' it all signifies that I am all of these things to my family forever. All of them are black except for the one that means 'woman' as it is considered the seal.
When you come across the right tattoo, you'll know it ;-)

If you have a friend who draws have them help you design one
Or ask the artist to draw some skethes...whatever you get make sure it's something you REALLY like
I have 2 and they are both original designs

well first pick up the first twenty tatoos u liked the best. and then choose 10 tatoos from it which u liked the best which makes u look mean. like u said. and then choose five of the tatoos which u think seems orginal. and then choose a tatoo from the five which suits and looks just perfect on your hand
