If the computer has been running a while, it needs restarting if it tells you that......... or can also be a problem if your hard drive is full (where the virtual memory paging file is written to).

Windows should be set to manage it automatically. To check it has been, look in:
Start > Settings > Control Panel > System
and look through the available tabs.

Make sure it's set so Windows manages virtual memory.

start/control panel/system/advanced tab..performance...click settings then Advanced then virtual memory.click Change....then check if the 'system managed file' is checked
