Would putting plywood down first do the job? THe dip is probably about 2-3 inches

if u want the slope gone and its 2 in or more u need to get a floor lever and pour it in that area...it will self level the floor......and u can install on to of it.....

Plywood could level it, but if it was sloped for a drain,best to just leave the slope there and just stick the lino to the cement(a lot more triming to keep it from buckelling).

Sure. Mine slopes to the left and still looks good.

I'd use quite thick lino though...

Ideally get some underlay too
