someone kept a headless chicken alive for weeks once feeding it soup down its neck with a dropper!

Sure! I saw a man remove the head of a homing pigeon, released it, and it flew 900 miles back home to its cage and laid a 4 pound hard boiled egg. How can you imagine any bird with a detached head- no eyes-no brain-no ears, etc. could function.

I think only chickens react after getting their head cut off, they don't fly of course.

no they dont. I have been a chef for 20 years and hav dicected many animals. you will get som reaction from nervs but have yet to see one fly away

Yes, and as pigeons are "moron" homing birds. They will fly directly at the nearest moron. So you better duck!!!

Wouldn't know and don't intend to try it. Seems really cruel to me. However, if you feed them lots of stuff with bicarbonate of soda they will eventually explode. (allegedly)
