We are all sick of the ICC doing favours for the traditional 'white' countries i.e. England, Australia, N. Zealand also S. Africa & Zimbabwe (still white if you look at their teams).

This latest scandal is caused by the ICC doing favours for England by appointing a racist umpire who made a string of decisions in their favour. I dont blame the England team as they would have won the series fair and square and had no motive to conspire with Hair or the ICC.
But now most of the money in cricket comes from Asia, is it time now to split and create a new international governing board free from the bigoted racist old farts that currently infest the ICC?

That is ridiculous. The ICC does not do any "favours" as you say, to anyone. They are however very backward and traditionalist when it comes to innovation, although if you compare the game now to 20 years ago, you will find that we have all come a long way. Remember in 1977 when World Series started in broke the game into two factions, now we all embrace ODI and the world cup as the pinnacle of the game we love.
As for being racist, I am sure you are aware that all of the test playing nations have equal representation on the ICC, which means there are just as many Indians, Sri Lankans, Pakistanis, and Bangladeshi's as there are Aussies, Poms or Kiwis. You also mention South Africa, which has the racist policy of not picking their best XI but having a quota, to ensure black and Indian players are always represented on the team, even if they are not the best. Zimbabwe sacked all of the best players, and replaced them because they didn't have enough black players, and it has crippled the game in their country. This is how bringing race into the game improves our world? I think that most Asians would agree that it is far more satisfying to always match yourself against the best players in the world that to split off and form your own little club. It certainly enhances the game in my opinion to be able to face off against the great batsmen that India produces and the awesome bowlers of Pakistan and Sri Lanka....
Splitting would be a huge mistake and destroy the game we all love. We need a diplomatic solution, even if that does mean reform WITHIN the ICC.

As an Australian supporter, I would hope that the Asian nations remain in the ICC. Teams like Pakistan, India and Bangladesh bring a lot to the game, and it would be a real disapointment to for the wider cricket world to miss out on them. By the same token, I think that the Asian teams would be missing out by withdrawing from the ICC as well. It's not like international cricket has a massive depth a top level international sides, and I think both Asia, and the rest of the world would miss out by not playing regular matches against each other.

I do think, however, that umpiring needs to be brought under more control, to prevent these sorts of situations taking place in the future, and this is something the ICC really needs to look at. If there is racism in cricket (which I dont doubt there is), it needs to be completely weeded out as well, and I dont think creating an "us & them" situation by breaking from the ICC will help matters, only make it worse.

Personally, I think this issue between Pakistan & England couldve been handled a lot better by all parties. Hair shouldnt have called Pakistan without video evidence of ball tampering (which we seen none of yet), but Pakistan were on the verge of winning the match, and shouldve played on after tea, and THEN made a protest. That way they wouldve won the match, AND a lot of the hype over the abandonment wouldnt be around which would mean that getting to the root of the problem would be easier.

One final thing, please remember that Australians are upset with Hair as well. There was a big headline in the newspaper today saying: "Sack the bonehead!" with Hair's picture next to it. Everyone in Australia I have spoken to is angry with Hair, and embarrassed for what he did. Please do not blame us.

ICC is an organisation that is just meant to make money (as Wasim said).

ICC haven't got any role to play for the game. In the Ashes there was ball reversing yards, and no one objected at the condition of the ball.
I still remember that the ball was just looking like an orange, and it was reversing a lot, at that time there was no objection at the ball or the bowler.
When it comes to Pakistan its cheating, thats really unfair.

But coming to your question, I dont think splliting from ICC is the right way to tacle this situation, its high time to make an aliance of Asian Countries so that they can work for their rights together.
PCB has put a suggestion for it to BCCI and Sri Lankan Board.
Sri Lankan board has agreed and they have said they will help and support PCB whatever they have to do. I hope BCCI will also take a step forward.

Splitting head on wouldnt be the first step. But Asian countries contribute most and if ICC wants to suspend Asian countries even better. Most of the revenue is generated by paying and watching public in India , Pak , Bangladesh, Sri Lanka. Also small centres like UAE< Malaysia , SPore, who have many expats from subcontinent are keen on cricket. Really if we dont have much say in the ICC and they will have such a biased attitude then in the long run we need to show them!

asians should unite not split...they should unite 2 exercise thier say over ICC..these bloody ICC offficials are always biased against asians!! inzi was perfectly roght...he dint harm the spiirit of the game...i bet had there been any other captain...he would have walked off straight away...but inzi dint wanna insult bllody daryl hair...daryl hair is YET 2 PROVIDE EVIDNCE...and the law says that u cannto judge just by looking at the state of the ball that is has been tempered...one has 2 provide evidnce and nam a player or 2....and my point is that when cook got out...the ball was reversing and then it was in poisession of the umpires..were the umpires blind at that time...??and just in 2 overs time...they found a big scratch and accused the team of tempering...this is shameful umpiring...agree or not...but both billy and hair have always been against apakistan...i have dozens and dozens of proofs of thier biasness against team pakistan...and had that been planned...inzi would have been oprating with 2 fast bowlers rather than kaneria at one end...or did he expext kaneria 2 rverse swing the ball with the so called tempered ball?? the rules imply that if a team efuses 2 play the umpire must go 2 the captain n iform him b4 h puts the match 2 n end...but what hair did...was taht he awarded the win and went away...and if u say that hair is the man of laws...does nay1 remmeber thr run out decision at faisalabad against inzi...according to the law...he shouldnt have refred it 2 the 3rd umpire even...and what will u say upon strauss and peitersen talkin on moboile sets when the match was not called off yt!!!! were they talking 2 som booikies..?? coz i am sure had that been pakistani player talkin on mobile in the dresseing room...he would have been accusd of match fixing...bloody malcom speed is an australian...therefore hell always support hair!!! hate HAIR...hate ICC

well I would recommend the ICC to keep Mr. Stupid( Darryl Hair) away from subcontinent matches. Here are examples
1. Murali of Sri Lanka was called no-ball even after he was cleared from the ICC. The he wrote a book about this incident.
2. Pakistan team is accused of ball tampering. I am not suprised if he comes up with another book on this incident.

this might mean a substantial interruption in Federal help and tax money being unfold around. So, people caught in the "conservative" section might do what they might to flee as a manner to stay in the greater industrious, economically-developed, "liberal" areas of the rustic. in any different case, the rustic is shifting forward with countless social liberties besides. So, the conservative element will lose their electorate on that front besides. So, i think of a great exodus from the pink States to the Blues States. people calling for refugee status to flee, etc.

i think asian team should make a forward block.....and if ICC (so call cricket control body) do something with them, they should take a combined action...
i give u a resent example...
The triengular series suppse to start in sirlanka but S.A returned home and the series was canecled....sirlanka face financial lose.....ICC keeps quit..

now when england faces financial lose (remenber lose of one 1 and 1/4 (means 1.25 days)).......
In Every english media u see the news of financial lose to england....
but u don't see any report of sirlankan lose...

Yes leave all the cheats should leave
Let the non cheats , this includes the black nations of the West Indies can play honest cricket.
And that way the Pakistanis can officialy publish who has bribed them this match.
