it'll go away on its own, just give it time. although from what you're describing, it doesn't sound like a tan, it sounds more like a sunburn. tans aren't "ugly", they're usually pretty. if it is a sunburn, it'll peel, and underneath your skin will be a little darker than before (tanner) but this will fade too after a little while unless you keep exposing it to the sun. aloe vera can help with the burning sensation and make it a little less noticeable, but it won't go away from aloe vera, it has to go away on its own. always wear spf 15 or higher for this very reason.

The only thing that I can think of that will get rid of a tan, and that's time. So just stay out of the sun as much as you can and wear a shirt and pants, and your tan should go away after a couple months.

You wont!! So calm down. If that isn't a natural tan, then stay out of the sun and eventually it will go away. If it doesn't go away sooner than you want it too, or its just aggravating you to a point where its driving you nuts, then go to the tanning salon and get a better tan.

Lemon oil is tricky, if you go out in the sun with it you'll get a nasty burn and sun spot. Your best bet is to exfoliate daily and not moisturize at all , or use a very, very mild moisturizer only where you need it.

Stay inside and out of the sun, I dont know of any ways to make a tan go away faster than what it would naturally.

Exfoliate your skin daily with something like St. Ives apricot scrub. Your tan will fade and eventually all your dead skin cells will slough off. Make sure you start wearing sun screen!

Wow, first time I've heard this one. I'm upset because I'm pregnant and can't just go hop in the tanning bed after work. Anyhow, use sunscreen EVERYtime you go into the sun. That's about it.

Get a full time job, thats what I did. Although I rarely got to see the sun this summer so I got to keep my farmer's tan lol.

If you have a tan and it tends to fade, you can exfoliate often. This sloughs off dead skin cells which hold most of the pigment that darkens from UV exposure.

when your in the shower use a rough textured wash cloth or summin... youll get a lil lighter b/c it will take off the dead skin on top.. which is the darkest... other than that... stay outta the sun fer a long time... or if you go out put on sun screen
