My eyeliner always fades away or becomes kind of racoonish. Any advice/help?

Wow, perfect question. I know many of my friends use an eye pencil. They DO look like racoons. Ew, you want to look like a human! So, a nice liquid eyeliner would be great. I replied to one of these before. I told the person to get as close to your eyelashes as possible on the lid part of your eye, go all the way acrossed to the outer part of your lid and go down half way to the bottom of your eye. Doing it too thick, looks like a racoon. Or some sort of gothic person. Make a thin line. Extending it to the outer part of your eye shows your eye color and expands your eye looking great. Use a brown liner if you have lighter skin, black looks too harsh!

Liquid will set and not run, like a pencil will.

It wil last even longer if you pat over it with a black powder and eyelining brush.

The best eyeliners, which dont budge (even when I have had a swim) are:

1. Shu Uemura Liquid Eyeliner

2. MAC Blacktrack, Fluidline (but needs to be applied with a brush)

Liquid eyeliners do tend to stay on longer, but they're a little difficult to apply and sometimes they look harsh. Your problem seems to be the oil in your skin. So before you apply your liner, powder that area with translucent powder. That will cut down the oil in your skin and give the liner a better surface to adhere to.

Liquid liner isn't meant on your decrease lashline, it may well be way too harsh and it BURNS if it gets into your eyes. attempt a water-proof pencil liner, then set it with a powder it is the same colour. That way, the powder will soak up the surplus liner and it will help it stay to tell the story longer and smudge much less. desire this facilitates!

Hi i have oily skin but it doesnt wear of or smudge, only if i sweat and rub my eyes, You could always use a sumdge proof one or a waterproof one. Avon do one that is liquid or pencil and lasts all day.

If your going to use liquid try products that are water-proof.

For pencils, Clinique makes one that stays put throughout the day called "quickliner for eyes". Its smudge-proof and water-proof, great for oily skins.

Liquid eyeliner stays put for longer time, but you have to be really careful when applying it

Powder the lids first. Pencil should last longer. But makeup only lasts so long anyway. You'll probably need to reapply.

Liquid or gel tends to stay better. Try Almay's liquid liner or MAC Fluidline.
