u can patch it all u want, it will still look like its damaged..best to remove the tile and replace the broken ones...also figure out why its cracking.....might need to level the area.

Try at Home Depot or hardware store, they may have a porcelain repair kit in a tube. Otherwise the tile needs to be replaced.

You can have it professionally reglazed, but it's a big, expensive process. If it's only one or two tiles, you can break them out and replace them.

Good question! It sounds like a scratch in the glazing. Could you possibly "buff" it out? Like I said, "good question".
