is IS the meditation? if yes then continue.start by sitting still,stilling the mind, closing the eyes is, helpfull for many ;at first...relax... take some full breaths,if you get too relaxed [sleepy] gently wiggle your toes.focus on your breathing,picture in your mind the thoughts as travelers;just passing into and then out of your mind; as just.. passer-by-ers.treat emotions the same way as they too will pass by.when your closed eyes get too hungry , feed them; by focusing on the spot slightly above the middle of your eyebrows.you can only be you,and for the most part yourself is within you.not on the outside.blessings too your highest self . blessings.welcome the light found within,befriend it .

I don't know that much about it myself, but I hear that it is good to help integrate both the right and left sides of your brain. I think quiet music is the easiest way to get into a meditative state of mind. Piano music or sounds of nature helps me best.

Ummm...don't they teach that at the gym? Or you ccould go to a gym and ask if they have meditation classes and if not where?
