I think there are lots of reasons. Like someone said, guys are visually oriented.

There is a lot that is attractive about the unattached nature of porn.

First, you can get exactly what you like, no questions asked. Porn will never call you a pervert.

Second, you don't have to buy it dinner or talk to it afterwards. When you're done, you can just walk away.

Third, it's always ready, no headaches, no periods, etc. Wanna go again in 10 minutes, no sweat, it's ready.

Sometimes people just need a release, porn fills that need with no strings attached.

Humans are voyeuristic by nature, whether it is a traffic accident, sports bloopers or porn. We like to watch other people.

Most people that I have found that do not like or accept pornography were raised that sex was strictly for having kids and not for enjoyment. Those same people most likly are not very imaginitive when it comes to sex.

Some people say porn destroys relationships. This is true if only one of the two is watching it. So, one must ask themselves, if I enjoy it and my partner does not, is my partner for me? Just like any other activity that people enjoy. I feel couples who can enjoy porn together have the healthiest relationships. Because they end up disclosing to each other their most inner wants and needs.

These same couples tend to be happy and have long lasting relationships.

I don't know. I can't figure that out myself. I have a watched a couple of porn movies with friends and after about 5 minutes I'm ready to do ANYTHING else. The acting is more than terrible. The scripts are beyond lame and the plot? What plot? Just moaning, groaning, and a twist of arms, legs and whatever else happens to pop into the camera.

I don't like all, but I do like some. I really like to watch women together. It's like watching your fantasies come true. I triggers certain sensors in the brain that get you excited and worked up. I love it. Some people think it's gross, and that's okay everyone is stimulated differently.

i don't like it personally, i think it has too much nudity. i don't like it. I think men might like it because (1.they like seeing women naked.2. if they're gay then they might like seeing men naked.) some men don't like it! some women might like it because they like seeing men naked or if they're lesbians then they like seeing women naked some might not like porn.
