It's the same process they use during abortions. It's very safe, but it's expensive and kind of pointless. Some women have it done if their periods are due on really important days (like their weddings), but it's not a super common procedure.

YES FOOL! The risks are pretty much the same as if you'd had an abortion or a DNC. You run the risk of vaginal or cervical perforation. Basically you can tear your vaginal walls and cause infection and more bleeding. Oh ever heard of toxic shock? You can die in a matter of hours. The female body is tough but damn a Dirt Devil? Come on now. The human body can only withstand so much stupidity.

Oh my God!!! I have never heard of this and I would never ever ever attempt such a ridiculous thing. Let nature take it's course and don't ever interfere with your cycle in this way. You don't have to be Einstein to work out that this has got to be dangerous. What a mess the vacuum will be in too, yukky.

First, where do people get these ideas?
YES, very dangerous. You are sucking out fluids.
A vacuum cleaner will short-out if you get fluids into it; and electrocute you!
You are also severely damaging your tissue, not to mention the dirt and bacteria in the vacuum tube.

Please dont try that. It may not only mess up your cycle but it will damage your insides. Just take some birth control pills to stop your menstrual cycle.

OMG...I would think that would be VERY dangerous.
You introduce dirt and bacteria into your body as well as risking TOO much suction....
OMG...I can't believe this.
