but the townhome is 2 hrs. away from my work and it is about 20 minutes away from my husbands. I will be staying home during the day with my 3 1/2 month old son and work part-time evenings. I gave my boss the notice on friday and yet now b/c he needs to find a replacement, I am scared that he will have me leave early if the replacement is here prior to the closing of the house. The house is under my name only, so if this happens, my husband and I will not be able to get a townhome. It's under my name for personal issues but it made a lot better sense and better loan with my name just on it.

Im sorry to say that it sounds like you have opened up a possible can of worms. It would have been better to wait until you got the home before giving your notice. If the closing is delayed, they may want paystubs again 2-3-4 weeks later. Will you still have your job??? The best thing to do is to ask your boss to please keep you on at this time, and explain things a little bit. Best of luck to you.

Well, you can either explain your situation to your boss and hope he understands and can hold off on the replacement or you just wait and see. You aren't in the best position but all you can do is hope it works out for the best.
