but if you want to see beyond the clouds and check where you live...then go to google earth at http://earth.google.com/ and download the software. It's free. It may not be live but you'll enjoy it more.

you can't, unless if you're a government official, and is ordered to track a highly wanted criminals or you own your own satellite. And please read the question: LIVE satellite pictures, Google Earth only displays Satellite Photographs taken before ago, and not a live picture, and so does Nasa's worldwind

do NASA World Wind, it's free to download, and the graphics are better than google earth. it also ranks higher than google earth, according to the American Statistical Institute.

try to get google earth. you can see satellite pictures anywhere in the world. i looked at the sphinx with it.

ps, i downloaded the nasa one and it doesn't get as close to buildings as google earth. my personal opinion is that google earth is better.
