I'm answereing this question because I see it asked every day.
Double click on the empty Yahoo search box. Then move the arrow on your mouse down to the first item BUT DON"T CLICK ON IT. Instead, right click on it and keep hitting delete. Done.

that is not the best solution

it takes more than just clearing history
which is what most people think is the solution
do the following and you will have no worries
open your browser
click tools up top
click internet options
click clear history
change the days to keep history to 0
click delete files
now click the content tab
click auto complete
click clear forms
then where it says use autocomplete for uncheck all the things you dont want your browser to store.
that way you wont have to keep going back and clearing things out. good luck

in case you deleted it previously it published, how would it not grow to be a featured query? by no ability ideas, you get to ask the query. attempt going to discover and enter various the biggest words. Or flow to better seek and fill in what you recognize. -MM

i don't use anything. i'm on a public library computer and they do it for me :))
