i agree like when people say mike vick is a "great" quarter back, hows that, for a 40% completion percentage,he sucks, plain and simple, matt schaub will have his job next year and vick will be traded, watch and see

Its fans being fans. Like I dont like the colts but I dont say manning is the worst QB in history. Other people say that though because they might be a fan of another team that is a rival to the colts. I'm a patriots fan do I like the raiders NO but guess what when I'm talking football at least I give them a fair chance. Sadly what football is about is disagreeing so just get use to people saying Brady is overrated or that other stuff that makes no sense.

Nope, it dosent bother me. Not everyone thinks that Faulk should be in the HoF. Also, it is true that Tom Brady does not put up as good of numbers as the other QB's in the league

Because everyone is a fan of some team, they are biased to some degree. Perfect example, Don Banks and Peter King are both Sports Illustrated columnists, and they live in the New England area. Guess what team they always pick to always do good, you got it, the Patriots. These guys are supposed to be objective, but naturally, they have bias. It's human nature.

Mental retardation...... yes, I think anyone who cannot objectively convers about any topic and must instead inundate you with their opinions as if it were fact is somewhat impaired.
Though, you may be asking the wrong girl, I am and always will be a Dolphins fan, even when they suck. Even when they've sucked for years. Even if they continue to suck for all eternity.
My loyalty may be a factor to discussing the NFL in a non-biased manner. But stats are stats, and results can be measured, and you have to give props to talented players, coaches, and teams even if they are Dallas Cowboys......yuck!

The is a football is a game of life. People live it, and for some a blog or a column is as close as they can get to the real action....if it wasn't for the fan antics on here it be pretty lame.....try to understand them their not just rabid fans..... their people too.....plus if Faulk ran 250 yards on your fav team at home, and costed them a playoff berth...you'd try to blunt that hall of fame trip too...lol.....Its all fine some just need to just reseach their answers more.........The reality of it is a win win situation...you mark out one answer as a possible best answer and they get an opinion that noones cares about(but them) read

Yes.
Why can't some people speak objectively about players?
They do not let the truth bother them. LOL
Is this a form of mental retardation?
Who knows.

if you are not football fan then you should not respond to these questions 1st off Faulk is a future Hall of Famer 2nd off I'm not a big Brady fan because he played for Michigan but i am not going to say that he sucks him he has a hell of a lot of talent. 3rd off some people are just biased toward one team like me with the Falcons but any way people are blind toward the facts.

It's all part of the game...the truth always comes out in the end.
I am wondering who will replace Steve Yezerman as captain of the Red Wings when there isn't a player in thee NHL that is worthy of shining his skates.
See how that works.....
OK good
How come KISS isn't in the rock and roll hof when they have been eligable for 6 years?

Its a form of disease I call "Bandwagonanitist". They talk like they know all about a certain sport. Comment on just what they hear on TV. And generally are a "fan" of what ever team is winning.
For example, look at all the Yankee fans, Packers, Lakers, USC, Texas, Duke....what ever team is winning is the team that most people you are describing follow.

Yeah, why can't people realize that even if this is just a game, and there are a lot of retards involved, don't we all have feelings, do we not bleed, do we not see our children on regular visits, do we not have a smaller recidivism rate than non-athletes? Have a heart, people.
