They are probably upset and annoyed or maybe they are just quite comfortable standing that way or maybe they are just showing youhow involved they are in your conversation... it could be a lot of things!

A message of defence and often insecurity. If you notice that somebody does that talk with your arms spread out, as if you say: "I welcome you". Helps!

Maybe they are cold. I do it a lot of time because I am cold.
