How do I deal with a coworker who only thinks of herself? For instance I have a candy jar on my desk and I filled it with jolly ranchers she promptly came over and started picking out all the cherry ones(the candy is provided by work). Thats just one simple example she does many other selfish things. It's starting to piss me off!

Stare at her when she starts to take them all and tell her how nice it is that she is going to share all that candy with everyone! It sure looks like a lot of candy you have there- it sure is nice of you to share with everyone...
That or you can do what i do to my kids when they are doing something that makes NO sense- i look at them, twist my face up and go" Are you serious?? are you for real??" that really shuts them down quick...lol

Tell her. Say, "You are selfish and hard to deal with, we have to work together for however howlong, so i will let you know when you are getting close to getting on my nerves".

Tell her (in the nicest way you can muster)....it's a good exercise in diplomacy.
