my computer just crashed on me.. it turns on..then gives me the safe mode etc options..and ive tried them all..but all that happens is that it leads me to a blue screen (which usually means that the computer is just totally lost) and it wont even let me read the blue screen! it just shuts off and restarts again..to do the same thing.. anyone know what to do? would really appreciate it.

Fire it up in safe mode (press F8 when windows is starting).
Use the windows XP restore utility to restore to a previous system state.
If this does not work, then use you OS CD (that came with the computer), to repair or re-install the OS. Just be aware that if you format the HD, you will loose all your data, so try to do a repair first.

Blue screen usually means a hardware problem. You will need to take it in to a local computer shop to have it checked out. Could be anything.
