1/37=27/999

rule: repeating digits of abc/999 are abc (abc is a 3 digit number)

n/37 = 27*n /999 ====> 27*n will give you the number you seek for

Can't do it. If I let n=74 then 74/37 = 2 and there are no repeating decimals.

Did you have any particular (and different) value of n in mind?

1/37 = 0.027027027
n/37 = 0.027027027*n
