I thought it was common knowledge ... and most folks knew.
Besides ... if we do that should we mention what color skin they have too? What color eyes ... things like that?

It's sadly irrelevant. The territory disputes in that part of the world have continued unabated for a very, very, long time.

Think of it as humans in a knock-down, drag-out fight, in which no one gets KO'd, that goes on forever. As you watch, first one person seems to have the other hand, then the other. They fall on the ground, wrestling, one on top, then the other, rolling around, jumping up, staggering away a little bit, then darting back in and attacking their opponent, then pulling back, then wrestling to the ground again, and on and on and on...

Religious beliefs may certainly be the touted cause of the hatreds that keep the combatants in the Middle East (the US included, we're originally Europeans, remember the Crusades?) at one another's throats throughout the centuries, but it's land, and the subsequent power it gives them, that they fight over. Religion just gives the combatants an excuse, and makes them feel self-righteous, as they slaughter one another.

It's very convient, isn't it, that believers in any of those religions represented in the Middle East believe that they are doing the right thing in the eyes of God. Whoever this God guy is, he's either one mean s-o-b, or has a split personality.

The truly sad thing is, none of the religious groups can see religion for what it really is, a way to separate and define a specific group of individuals, with the goal of gaining strength and power by virtue of numbers. If some sort of philosphy isn't involved in such an effort, it's usually just called an army.

I would rather no why the Christians in S. Lebanon haven't Kicked Hezbollah in the Nuts for all the problems they have caused? I don't think Hezzbollah building a hospital gives them the right to use it to hide bhind while they shoot rockets at civilians. I don't have much pity for people who put up with
terrorist amongst them, it show the character of the people.

Some of the people are Christians there.
The media only cares about Muslim deaths, because they want to weaken our country. They could care less abot Jews or Christians. Even though the media are made up 99% of Jews and Christians. Anti American scum they are. They are rooting for our enemies, can you show me otherwise? Actions speak louder than words.

I agree, that is very odd, especially considering that Lebanon is considered a "Christian" nation. My guess would be that they are trying to focus on the "Jewish/Arab" strained relationship that has been going on for years, rather than bringing the Christian viewpoint into the battle.

Because the people who control the media ultimately control what one is able to know. Consequently, opinions are often formed upon a false foundation of misinformation.

Who is really stupid enough to believe what our television sets tell us, anyway? (This applies to politics and religion as well!)

Because Israel wants the US citizens to view their war against Lebanon as a continuation of the US war on Muslim terrorists, not the truth which is clear it is another expansion for Israel.. do not forget who hurt Jesus, Israelis kill everything that live they are are worse than the Nazis.
