you can't, if you don't use them for awhile though they are automatically deleted.

only make your new one, and not log returned directly to the previous one. After approximately 30 to 60 days without go browsing, the previous account would be deleted rapidly. DON"T get curious, and go browsing to establish in case you overlooked an substantial digital mail, or the 30 day clock starts off yet returned.

You can delete the id from https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user provide the account name and password. Be sure which account you want to delete, because once deleted you account will be gone.
