Are you serious? Carbon Dioxide is one part carbon and two parts oxygen. You only find the elements on the table! For a silly song, though, listen to Tom Lehrer's The Elements. He sings them to "I am the Very Model of a Modern Major General." It may be a nice "break" from chemistry class.

The periodic table only has elements on it. Carbon Dioxide is a compound, so it won't be there, but Carbon and Oxygen are though, hence CO2.

It's NOT! It's not ONE element it's 3. One carbon and two Oxygen atoms make carbon dioxide.

It is a compound of 2 elements - Carbon and Oxygen - which themselves feature on the Periodic Table

Chemical formula for Carbon Dioxide is CO2 - it consists of one Carbon molecule covalently bonded to two Oxygen molecules.

You should be able to find Carbon and Oxygen independently on the periodic table of elements.

It is a combination of carbon and oxygen, you can find both of those elements towards the top right. Carbon dioxide is one carbon atom and two oxygen atoms. Carbon dioxide is a molecule, not a compound.
