2x +7= x + 18
18= 7+11. SInce 2x +7 equals x + 11+ 7, then x must be 11.
Check: 2 *11 +7= 29, 11 +18= 29

U hav to get the Xs on one element and the numbers on the different 2x+7=x+18 Then flow the 7 to after the 8 (once you progression something to the different element the sign adjustments so a favorable extensive type will exchange to a unfavorable extensive type and vies versa) So this is going to be 2x=x+18-7 then you certainly can artwork out 18-7=eleven So it'd be 2x=x+eleven then you certainly progression the x to after the 2x ( the valuable x will exchange to a unfavorable) So it'd be 2x-x=eleven Then artwork out 2x-x=x So it'd be x=eleven wish it is comprehensible :)

You have to get all your x's on one side of the equal sign... and all your numbers on the other side of the equal sign. You always have to do the same thing to both sides. Your steps will be:
2x + 7 = x + 18
Now you're going to subtract 7 from both sides of the equation so that there's nothing but x's on the left. That will leave you with:
2x = x + 11
Now you're going to get only x's on one side, and numbers on the other side by subtracting an x from both sides. Now you have:
x = 11
To check it, you fill in "11" wherever there is an x and see if it calculates out.
2(11) + 7 = (11) + 18
22 + 7 = 11 + 18
29 = 29
Yay! It's right! :)
