yo im going to my friends house and she has a sprinkaler we always go in water its like her thing but i have my period and i will not use a tampon and defintly won't tell her have any god ecscuses or plans?? think hard about this thanks

so u don't wanan tell ur frnd that u r on ur monthly, eh? well, tell her u r not feeling better. or if u don't wanna go near the sprinkaler, tell her u got a cut somewhere on ur knee, and the water will make it worse....i don't know gilr make up something....

Seriously, why be embarrassed about a period? If she's your friend I doubt she'd care. It's just a normal part of life. I've never not used tampons (except just after giving birth), so I really can't empathized .
If it's really that mortifying just say you don't feel like it.

Wear a small pad and go into the water, the water stops the flow of blood. A good excuse is an ea infection because you can't go into the water when you have one. Tell your friend...its not totally secretive when you turn into a woman.

you could go play in the sprinker, just dont get so wet that is saturates your pad. I know, easier said than done. and change quickly after you play.... I wasn't a tampon user when I was young. You miss out on a lot of fun especially if you are shy about talking about it. ..... You could just talk to her about it, if she is your friend she will understand, ya know?

The simple truth darlin, either that or break down and use a tampon, they are rather comfortable.

You can always say you've got a cut on your foot or something that you don't want to get infected so you need to stay out of the water.
