The best, most mild home remedy is in the kitchen sink with a mild dish soap.

Seriously.

If you have a highly reactive ball, using harsh chemicals like 409 or rubbing alcohol can damage the finish of your equipment.

Buy specialty cleaner at your local pro shop. Or wash them in the sink with a mild dish detergent.

I use neo-tac on mine. It works pretty good. Bowling.com has a bunch of stuff to clean/polish your ball. Or ya could just find a bowling alley with a polisher. It only costs a couple bucks.

Most bowling alleys have an automatic bowling ball polishing machine.
