Should a girl be able to hit a guy with no fear of being hit back?

He isn't fighting back because of the legal and moral repurcussions, what should he do?

If a woman puts herself in a man's place then she should be treated like a man! It's not right for anybody to hit anybody else, man or woman, but unfortunately it does happen. I wouldn't expect my man to just stand there and let me beat the crap out of him...I would lose all respect for him. If you can't take it, don't dish it out.

At the very least he should restrain her. It's not acceptable for ANYONE to be abused physically including men.

He needs to report the violence and not be concerned with what it may look like just because he's a man. If it's on record that she's physically abusive then when he restrains her the best way possible there won't be any issues. It will be reported and on record that this "so called" woman has a history of violence. Report her to the police... do it and do it often. If he has to get a restraining order.. .then do it. Cover Your Butt!

Bump that! Tell him to handle that hot mess with a quickness. Then he should go for counseling to also show (and have a record filed) that he's trying to do the right thing. If she doesn't get help for her abusive behavior then both parties need to move on.

If this is a marriage situation.. both parites need to seek counseling either seperately or together until the behavior has changed. If he's still in harms way and is reluctant to restrain her by holding her hands (FIRMLY) until she stops that craziness then he needs to LEAVE the area quickly and don't return until she's either gone or she's receiving therapy. Hopefully, he will ignore any persons thoughts about being macho. He should also not do anything more than protecting himself in a way that's not destructive or harmful. Either way, that mess needs to stop.

No one should be hitting. If it has come to that, you need help. I knew this guy that got the crap beat outa him by his girl. It happened so often that he became a refuse.
His friends tried to help him but he was so embarrased, he began to deny it was happening. He felt like the above referenced question.
Unfortunatley, one day he snapped. He hit her back so hard that she fell and cracked her head real good. Of course, the police charged him with domestic violence. It didn't matter how many times he had been hit. He was still wrong. Even some of the officers that showed acted like this wasn't real.
So, hopefully this person you are asking for will get out!! He shouldn't have to put up with this. I am assuming counseling is out of the question. Please seek help with this one from a professional.
By the way, she was never the same again. She had a speech impediment, and drooled!!!

I didn't watch it but no a girl shouldn't be able to hit a guy, nobody should be hitting anybody. Him hitting her doesn't fix the situation either and yes there are consequences. There are also legal consequences for her doing it but most men won't report it. He should turn around and walk away and eliminate that person from his life for good.

Wouldn't it be easier to walk away? No chance of being arrested for abuse, and make that walk a long one so you cannot find your way back. Violence from either sex is NOT acceptable in a relationship. Your girl shows every sign of having been abused in the past. I am afraid that you do not have the skills to help her, and you do not need to be abused along the way. Many men are abused by their mates, we just don't hear about it. The advice is the same with either sex....run, don't walk, to the nearest exit. And do it today...things will not get better. Everytime she strikes you, she looses more respect for you. She is laying the ground work for you to punch her out..for what, I cannnot guess, but she may be one of those people who cannot respect someone unless they beat the hell out of her. This is excalating, I am sure, and will continue to do so until you strike back..don't fall into that trap...you will be no better than she. When it comes down to it no one should ever put there hands on anyone man or woman. when it comes down to that for any reason it's time to get out because that person no longer respects you no matter what they say an how sorry they are there is no reason an they don't I repeat they do not respect you an with out that there is no we nor us only hurt an bad times. no man should ever let a woman hit him nor should a woman let a man hit them there are to many people out here that will respect you as you should an you should put the time into that rather than a life of being let down

He should report her to the police or proper authorities. I believe that is abuse and is no different than a man hitting a women. Talk to her about it is another option. abuse is a disease and she needs help with it. If talking to her and if she is willing to admit that she has a problem and is willing to get help then you two will be o.k.. If she says that she doesn't have a problem and you are her problem or some other excuse then LEAVE AND LEAVE FAST because it will only get worse

NO NO NO!! If I hit a man, I expect to get hit back just as hard if not harder than I hit him. If she hits him first, then it is self defense.
