I have recently been very comfortable with myself. I used to be fat, practically my whole life. Now when I finally start feeling good about myself, my swim coach makes me squeeze into some constricting bathing suit that doesn't exactly make me feel god about myself.

If you have good advice please share it, but if you have anything harsh to say you obviously have no understanding. be considerate here, I need to do something that will give me a confidence boost.

When someone doesn't feel good about themselves, it's not the outside stimulus they're worried about but the inside stimulus. Generally speaking, you have something in your head telling you to worry about what others think of you. Removing this area of yourself would cure what ails you, in other words, practicing living in a reality where you never care about what anyone thinks and believing it, 100%, through and through, will make all the difference, not to mention a confidence boost. It'll be Awesome.

"white horse" and "no one" give you very good answers. Do, please consider this.

If you are a serious competitive swimmer, you don't want your suit to have loose, floppy folds that will slow you down. The suit should fit you like a slick, second skin, no matter what your body shape.

As long as the suit's leg holes and arm holes don't cut off your circulation, and the rest of the suit allows freedom of motion, then that is the suit you want.

You also picked what is probably the best sport to help you lose weight if that is also part of your goal. Even if it is not, you will still lose weight, some of it in body fat. Also, the muscles you develope will be the long, slick shapes, not the bulgy weight lifter ones.

You will probably get to the point where you LIKE the look of the tight swim suit.

Good luck and have fun. The practice is hard, but well worth the effort!

If it is too tight, then tell him.
It is rediculous that he makes you wear something that makes you feel uncomfortble. Nobody is perfect. This is not your fault or something to feel bad about!
