Which size lead do u perfer for mechinal pencils?0.5 or 0.7 or 0.5?Why?Would u perfer thin mechincal pencils or thick ones?Why?

0.5 because makes ur writing look better/thinner, and also no one has 0.7 lead when u need it.
thin ones easier to hold plus i have small hands.
mechincal pencils, so u dont have to sharpen them.

I prefer a 0.5 lead mechanical pencil, and will only use those produced by BiC - I'm very particular about my pens and pencils. I like the 0.5 because it, as you've said, makes my handwriting appear thinner and not as bulky. However, the 0.7 is better for sketching and drawing, so I use those often as well (but not for writing).

If you go to an art supply store you can find mechanical pencil lead in various degrees of hardness just like regular pencils. I prefer the 0.5 lead of the 4H grade which is harder than regular lead and stronger too.

Either...I happen to "pick them up" when I see 'em laying about. I use .5 for drawing, though...
