Depends on your definition of "mean". If being mean is being blunt...well i think thatz just being honest...and yes, i do think sometimes its best to keep ones opinions to oneself, cuz it does come off as mean otherwise...but i dont think its intentional meanness...but the kind of cruelty people use to just hurt other people´s feelings does suck. That totally sucks.

Oh sorry, did you mean "suck"? Well, "mean" to you could be not mean to me. Mean to me could be not mean to you. It depends on the person himself cuz people have different opinion. And in my opinion, mean people dun always suck. Sometimes! ;-)

Though everyone needs to be a bit mean every so often..... they suck wile they are doing it of course.. but it is a necessary evil lol
