The girl across the "hall" from me is always staring over here. I don't know why she does this, but how can I stop her from doing it, without offending her? It is really starting to bug me - I can't work like this!

just give her an awkward "what the hell are you staring at" wave. she'll get the point.
or stack up all the office staplers in front of you and create an impenetrable fortress of lead.

Would you be allowed to place a plant on your desk maybe? A fern or something could block her view of you.
Or if you have enough room you could put a larger plant in a nice basket on the floor, again creating a barrier between her and you.
If a live plant isn't practical, you can get some pretty nice ones in "silk". I've done well finding these at garage sales for just a few dollars.

u cant stop anyone from looking everyone has eyes but u can go up tp her and ask whats the problem and if she likes u she will say it let her know ur trying to work and her staring at u id=s bothering u and ifshe dont stop aske the boss can he or she move u someone else or can they move the girl that keeps looking at u

I would just politely go over there and ask her if there is something that she would like to talk about because you notice her staring at you. Explain to her that you don't want to be mean or hurtful but it makes you very uncomfortable when she keeps staring at you.

Simply approach them as a proffesional ask them do you to have some kind of conflict you didn't know about. If said yes get it resolved right then and there professional as possible. If they say no simply tell them that you don't like the fact that they stair at you if they deny it say ok but just incase. Don't be mad tho cause its obvious your doing something right.

confrontation is a great psychological tool to get to the heart of people's negative behavior. maybe you could catch her staring, and right then, go to her and ask her what she wants, or if she likes the way your hair is done or WHAT ARE you staring at? usually, the fact that you've brought to her attention some behavior that she finds unacceptable will curb future 'starings'. good luck, good day.

Is there anything at all you can put between the two of yous to block her view, or turn things to where you can't see her starring/Get a big plant or something other wise I'm afraid I am not much help.

Are you hot or disfigured? People only stare for two reasons, hot or freak. I'm going to guess hot. and I'm going to tell you the hotter you are the more your going to get looked at.
I am hot (not saying it to get attention) and have had severe problems with, hmmm, how should I say..... alternative men, staring at me, hitting on me, raping me with their eyes throughout my existence. At work, at bars, on the street, at the dr's office, DMV you name it, I'm hit on. And no, I'm not gay or bi or gay and not know it.
I simply say I'm not into dudes, sometimes I rap with them for a while afterward, but ultimately I'm just honest.
Just walk over and say "not into chicks" and see what happens. She may end up just really liking your earrings

I once had a co-worker who stared at me and I just avoided a flare up by putting a partition between our line of view. If you can do this and anyone asks just say you're remodeling.
