It happens from time to time, don't worry about it. It's just an error. It corrects itself. The one point for voting is all that matters!

That happened to me the other day when I voted and it showed the counts and percentages and everything and then I hit the back button. The old screen came up (vote for this, blah, blah, blah) as if I hadn't voted so I clicked on it again to make sure it didn't take it back or something and it said that 'oops, one person, one vote' thing.

Sounds like your mouse is registering a double click on the vote button.

That's so the voting is fair, honest and maintains integrity. Either you double-clicked or you need to clear your browser's cache so you don't go back to the page that appeared before you voted.

you're probably double clicking the 'vote for this answer' button - no buttons or links on ANY webpages ever require a double click, a single click is fine.

obviously the message "oops!one person, one vote?" is because you are voting twice (two clicks).

don't forget to 'accept' this answer if it helped.

That only happens if you double click.
