First, Convert 4/5 into a decimal. (4 divided by 5 = 0.8). Then convert 51/2 into a decimal number. (51 divided by 2 =25.5)
Your new equation reads -3.3 +0.8 + (-25.5) = -28
You're welcome.

Shure, ill try:
-3.3+4/5+ <--= -2.5
(-51/2) <-- = -2.5 (see when the two #'s are "next door" it means you have to multiply.)
add -2.5 and -2.5 and you get 0
this is above me, and i did use a calculator, but TRY this & see if it works, k?
ROCK ON 4~EVR & GOOD LUCK!!!

first you do -51/2=-26.5
-3.3+4/5-25.5 is what you get then
you combine -3.3 with -25.5 sso now it is 4/5 (also .8) - 28.8
so -28.8 + 0.8 is -28
